Job Description
- 10+ years of experience in Server Administration with strong hands-on expertise in Linux and Windows Server environments.
- Install, configure, administer, patch, and maintain Linux and Windows servers across development, test, and production environments.
- Manage and support server clustering, high availability, failover, and disaster recovery solutions to ensure maximum system uptime.
- Administer and troubleshoot storage environments, including SAN, NAS, disk provisioning, storage allocation, multipathing, and capacity management.
- Monitor server health, performance, CPU, memory, disk utilization, network connectivity, and storage capacity to proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Perform OS upgrades, patching, vulnerability remediation, configuration management, and system hardening in accordance with enterprise standards.
- Troubleshoot complex Linux, Windows, clustering, storage, network, and system performance issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Manage file systems, logical volumes, mount points, permissions, backups, restores, and storage replication across enterprise environments.
- Configure and maintain Windows Failover Clustering and Linux high-availability environments, including cluster resources, failover testing, and recovery procedures.
- Automate routine administration and operational tasks using Shell/PowerShell scripting and other automation tools.
- Collaborate with network, database, security, storage, application, and infrastructure teams to support enterprise applications and resolve production issues.
- Maintain system documentation, participate in incident/change/problem management, and follow ITIL processes, security policies, and operational best practices.
