The Role • Actively pursue new B2B clients in the trades sector through direct engagement within the store and surrounding areas. • Cultivate and expand relationships with existing commercial customers, including tradespeople and facility managers. • Drive revenue growth by acquiring new clients, re-engaging past customers, and promoting product sales within the B2B segment. • Manage and track performance against key metrics, including new client acquisition rates, customer activity, and specific sales targets. • Prepare quotes and process orders for corporate clients, coordinating product orders and offering value-added services like delivery and equipment rental. • Handle administrative tasks such as product staging, managing reservations, processing pickups, and resolving customer complaints. • Plan and execute client-focused events tailored to the local market, such as tradesperson breakfasts or networking gatherings. • Collaborate closely with colleagues across all departments to share insights on trade projects and ensure comprehensive customer support. What You'll Need • Completion of a sales or retail apprenticeship, or several years of experience in sales, retail, or the trades. • Prior experience in B2B sales is highly advantageous. • Solid product knowledge and understanding of effective product placement. • Proficiency in PC applications and standard software. • Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills, with a high command of German. • A customer-centric approach with a proactive, friendly demeanor and strong persuasive abilities.
