Senior Project Manager in Sacramento CA

MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS
a) Minimum of seven (7) years of broad, extensive, and increasingly responsible experience applying Project Management principles, methods, techniques, and tools. At least four (4) years of that experience must have been as a Senior Project Manager of one or more large or complex Information Technology (IT) projects.
b) Possession of a bachelor's degree in an IT-related or Engineering field.* The Senior Project Manager's resume must demonstrate this qualification.
c) Possession of a valid Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI).*
*Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis. The PMP certification is required and may not be substituted with additional experience. Attach the copy of the certification for the proposed staff.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
a) Minimum of four (4) years of experience with complex Internet Protocol (IP) networks that deliver voice and other data elements.
b) Minimum of two (2) years of experience with project planning and analysis, milestone tracking, and status reporting.
