DV Cleared Infrastructure Engineer

Location: Stevenage (5 days on-site)

We're currently seeking a DV-cleared Infrastructure Engineer to join a prestigious organisation based in Stevenage. You'll be working as a part of a small, close-knit team delivering a high-profile support contract.
The initial term runs until March 2027, with a strong likelihood of extension through to 2030 based on performance. This is a long-term, BAU-focused engagement that has been deemed Inside IR35-but offers a very competitive daily rate for a role of this type. For an experienced 2nd/3rd Line Engineer, this represents an outstanding opportunity to secure long-term, stable work on a critical programme.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, configure, patch, and maintain Windows Servers.
• Automate processes and manage build images.
• Support the racking and deployment of physical Servers and desktop systems.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues while responding efficiently to user requests.

Technical Requirements

Essential Experience:

• MS Windows Servers, Clusters, Hyper-V, and Desktops
• Active Directory, DNS, and Certificate Services
• MS Exchange and Skype
• SCCM and WSUS

Desirable Experience:

• Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Smart Cards, Yubikey
• HPE Apollo and ProLiant hardware
• Cohesity backup solutions
• Security tools including Tenable Nessus, Trellix ePO AV, and OPSWAT

Due to the nature of the work and the client's industry, DV clearance is essential. You must already hold valid Developed Vetting (DV) clearance and be willing to work on-site in Stevenage five days per week. Unfortunately, applications without current DV clearance will not be considered.
