Medical Assistant

• Location: Brookfield, WI
• Facility: AMG Capital and Lily Clinic
• Department/Specialty: Primary Care
• Schedule: Day-shift  l  Full-time 

• Clinical & Patient Care: Measures vital signs, interviews patients, assists with provider-ordered treatments, and prepares examination rooms.
• Documentation & Scribing: Charts patient information, transcribes orders, and records diagnoses, symptoms, prescriptions, and follow-up instructions.
• Administrative Support: Performs basic clerical tasks, including answering phones, maintaining records, and filing.
• Facility & Inventory: Orders and stocks supplies while maintaining a clean, organized, and orderly environment.

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

• One or more of the following:
• Medical Assistant credentialed from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Medical Assistant credentialed from the American Medical Technologists (AMT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Medical Assistant credentialed from the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Medical Assistant credentialed from the National Healthcareer Association obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Registered Medical Assistant credentialed from the American Registry of Medical Assistants also accepted.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. *Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
