Job Overview

Jobsworth is currently recruiting for a motivated and experienced Sales Team Leader to join a well-established business specialising in fasteners and industrial supplies, based in Halesowen.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong sales background and leadership skills to oversee a sales team, build customer relationships and drive business growth. Experience within the fasteners, fixings, engineering or industrial supplies sector would be highly advantageous.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the sales team, ensuring excellent customer service and helping the business achieve its sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and support the sales team to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
• Manage day-to-day sales activities, ensuring customer enquiries and orders are handled efficiently.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while identifying new sales opportunities.
• Provide product advice and support relating to fasteners, fixings and industrial supplies.
• Prepare quotations, process orders and follow up on outstanding enquiries.
• Monitor sales performance and identify opportunities to improve results.
• Support the training and development of sales team members.
• Handle customer queries and resolve issues professionally.
• Liaise with purchasing, warehouse and operations teams to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
• Identify opportunities to increase revenue and improve customer retention.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience in sales, ideally within fasteners, fixings, engineering, manufacturing or industrial supplies.
• Previous team leader, supervisory or sales management experience is desirable.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and customer service skills.
• A proven ability to work towards targets and deliver results.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Competent with computer systems, CRM software and Microsoft Office.
• A proactive, professional and commercially minded approach.
• The ability to motivate others and work effectively within a team.

• Pay: £15.00 per hour.
