Staff Software Engineer, Product Quality

San Francisco, CA (Onsite)

I'm working with one of the fastest-growing AI infrastructure companies in the market that's looking to hire a Staff Software Engineer to take ownership of product quality and reliability across its core platform.

This is a highly technical, high-impact role where you'll work directly with engineering leadership to improve platform stability, investigate production issues, strengthen testing infrastructure, and help scale an AI product trusted by some of the world's most recognizable enterprises.

What you'll be doing:
Own product quality and platform stability across a rapidly growing AI infrastructure product
Lead root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions for production issues
Improve testing infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and release processes
Work across multiple systems to proactively identify and resolve reliability challenges
Partner closely with customers and engineers to improve platform performance and reliability
Raise engineering standards through technical leadership and ownership

What they're looking for:
Staff-level software engineering experience (or operating at Staff level)
Strong Python and/or Rust programming skills
Recent startup experience (Seed-Series D preferred)
Experience owning systems across multiple components rather than a single service
Customer-first mindset with a strong sense of ownership
Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-growth environments
