Software Engineer Product Management, Engineering, Experience & Design Victoria

We're looking for a Software Engineer to join our Product and Engineering team in Melbourne to help design, develop and maintain high-quality software solutions that support the company's platform strategy.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Engineering Lead, you'll deliver software components and functionality that meet the business requirements and platform objectives.

You'll have the opportunity to contribute to the evolution of a growing platform and influence how healthcare technology is delivered across Australia.

What You'll Be Doing

• Design, develop and enhance scalable software solutions that align with our platform strategy.
• Deliver reliable, secure, and maintainable code through testing and engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and release customer-focused functionality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues to maintain product performance and customer satisfaction.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by adopting modern technologies, development practices, and engineering standards.
• Build deep product knowledge and become a trusted technical expert within your area of responsibility.

About You

You enjoy solving complex technical problems, take pride in delivering high-quality code and thrive in collaborative environments where your work has a direct impact on customers.

You'll bring:

• Proven experience developing .NET software applications using modern frameworks, tools, and practices.
• Web development experience using Microsoft ASP.NET, Core MVC, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with Structured Query Language (SQL) across multiple DBMS platforms (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle).
• Experience developing and integrating REST APIs.
• Experience participating in Agile development cycles and contributing to sprint delivery.
