Job Description

Cyber Security Architect

Location: Princeton, NJ & New York, NY — Hybrid

Full-Time

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Architect to define and implement enterprise cybersecurity architecture, security standards, controls, and reference architectures. The ideal candidate will have strong experience across enterprise security, cloud security, IAM, network security, application security, threat modeling, risk management, and security governance.

The Cyber Security Architect will work closely with engineering, infrastructure, cloud, application, data, and business teams to design secure solutions and drive security improvements across the organization.

Required Qualifications:

  • 8–12 years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, infrastructure security, cloud security, or security architecture.
  • 3+ years of experience designing and reviewing enterprise security architectures.
  • Strong knowledge of network security, application security, cloud security, IAM, cryptography, and security operations.
  • Experience with threat modeling methodologies such as STRIDE, MITRE ATT&CK, or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of Zero Trust, least privilege, defense in depth, secure-by-design, and separation of duties.
  • Experience performing security risk assessments and developing risk-treatment/remediation plans.
  • Hands-on understanding of security controls, vulnerabilities, penetration testing, incident response, and disaster recovery.
  • Experience with security architecture frameworks, policies, control standards, and governance processes.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex security risks to technical and business stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence engineering teams and drive security improvements across enterprise projects.
