VMWare Administrator - Senior with Security Clearance

COMPENSATION RANGE - $97,000 - $142,000 Responsible for unique or complex information systems and/or information technology projects across more than one discipline, such as application support, database administration, software quality assurance/quality control, software engineering, network telecommunications, and infrastructure operations of administration, analysis, engineering and design. Provides direction to other IT Administrators on the project in a senior administrator capacity. Considered a technical specialist in a variety of IT administrator disciplines. * Manage VMware vSphere infrastructure (ESXi, vCenter, NSX). * Perform VM provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management. * Monitor VMware environment health and performance. * Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation. * Implement virtualization automation and orchestration. * Perform capacity planning and resource optimization. * Support disaster recovery and backup operations. * Maintain VMware documentation and runbooks. Minimum Qualifications * Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field or equivalent relevant experience; Master's Degree preferred. * 4+ years VMware administration experience. * Public Trust clearance Other Job Specific Skills * Strong in: vSphere 7.x/8.x, vCenter, NSX, vSAN. * Knowledge: Automation (PowerCLI, Terraform), backup solutions, disaster recovery. * VMware VCP-DCV certified. #CJPOST
