Mobile Electrical Maintenance Engineer – FM Service Provider – Commercial Buildings – Central & South London – £45,000–£48,000 + Package + LVAP Training
CBW Staffing Solutions is recruiting for a Mobile Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join an established FM service provider, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a portfolio of commercial buildings throughout Central and South London.
This is an excellent opportunity for an electrically qualified engineer with commercial building maintenance experience who is comfortable working independently across a local mobile patch. The successful candidate will benefit from a competitive salary, company vehicle, training and opportunities for career progression.
Hours of Work:
  • Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00
  • 1-in-10 call-out rota
  • £100 standby allowance
  • Overtime available

  • £45,000–£48,000 basic salary

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Carry out planned preventative and reactive electrical maintenance across commercial buildings.
  • Maintain lighting systems, including lamp replacements, ballast changes, fault-finding and minor installations.
  • Complete emergency lighting testing.
  • Monitor BMS systems and respond to heating and cooling issues.
  • Maintain and update site logbooks and maintenance records.
  • Complete allocated tasks professionally and within agreed timescales.
  • Proactively identify, report and rectify faults with building services equipment.
  • Report and escalate health and safety concerns where required.
  • Liaise with client representatives regarding service levels and maintenance issues.
  • Escalate service-affecting issues to the site management team.
  • Work in accordance with relevant health and safety procedures and legislation.
Requirements:
  • City & Guilds Level 2 or Level 3 Electrical qualification (or equivalent).
  • City & Guilds 18th Edition.
  • Proven experience in commercial building maintenance.
  • Multi-skilled building services knowledge.
  • Previous experience in a Building Services Engineer or Mobile Maintenance Engineer role.
  • Confident working independently and maintaining high standards of workmanship.
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills.
