Civil Engineer Birmingham (Hybrid)<br />£35,000 – £45,000 An established engineering consultancy is seeking a Civil Engineer to join its growing Birmingham office.

This opportunity is suited to candidates who are currently based in the Birmingham area and are looking to develop their career within a collaborative and forward-thinking consultancy.

The successful candidate will work on a diverse range of civil engineering projects, producing detailed designs and supporting projects from initial concept through to construction. The role offers exposure to a variety of developments across sectors, providing excellent opportunities for professional growth and career progression.

The Role The Civil Engineer will be responsible for:

Producing civil engineering designs for a range of development projects.<br />Designing highways, drainage and external works in accordance with current standards.<br />Preparing technical reports, calculations and engineering drawings.<br />Liaising with clients, local authorities and multidisciplinary design teams.<br />Supporting projects through planning, detailed design and construction stages.<br />Attending site visits and design meetings where required.<br />Ensuring work is delivered to agreed quality standards and project deadlines.The Candidate The ideal candidate will have:

A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.<br />Previous experience in a civil engineering consultancy undertaking design work.<br />Knowledge of drainage and highway design principles.<br />Experience using industry-standard software such as Civil 3D, AutoCAD, MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage or Causeway Flow.<br />A good understanding of UK design standards and regulations.<br />Strong communication and organisational skills.<br />A desire to continue developing professionally, with support towards chartership if required.What's on Offer?
