Key Responsibilities
- Leading a team of Civil Engineers, Designers, and Technicians
- Mentoring and developing junior and mid-level engineers
- Managing team workload, resource planning, and project priorities
- Providing technical leadership across water and wastewater infrastructure projects
- Supporting outline and detailed design activities
- Reviewing engineering deliverables and maintaining quality standards
- Working closely with clients and multidisciplinary project teams
- Supporting recruitment, capability growth, and team development initiatives
Requirements
- Strong civil engineering experience within the UK regulated water sector
- Experience leading teams and developing engineering capability
- Background delivering water or wastewater infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of outline and detailed design processes
- Commercial awareness and project delivery experience
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Chartered Engineer or working towards chartership preferred
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or related discipline
