The Role

• Manage the nursing schedule to ensure consistent, high-quality patient care.
• Identify opportunities for improving the effectiveness of nursing department staffing.
• Advise supervisors on any issues or problems related to the nursing schedule.
• Ensure all employee and contract files meet regulatory standards.
• Schedule and coordinate educational opportunities for nursing staff.
• Distribute the nursing schedule in a timely and efficient manner.

What You'll Need

• High school education or equivalent.
• Previous experience in staffing or scheduling, preferably within a hospital setting.
• Excellent organizational and clerical skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of employee data.
