Job Description

SEN Teacher | Nottingham, United Kingdom | Hybrid

We are seeking compassionate and skilled SEN Teachers for an impactful organization dedicated to transforming the lives of young people with SEND and SEMH needs within their community. The Role

  • Provide in-person, online, or hybrid Maths, English, or Science tuition to students with SEND and SEMH needs.
  • Support pupils from KS1 to KS5 through planning and delivering trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
  • Plan and report for lessons, providing regular feedback on student progress.
  • Work with local authorities and schools to support disengaged and vulnerable learners.
  • Contribute to raising the standard of education for young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.

What You'll Need

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS).
  • Minimum of 2 years teaching experience, with a preference for SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or PMLD.
  • Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science.
  • Enhanced DBS check (assistance provided if needed) and 2 professional references.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment.
  • Must be based in the UK with the right to work.
