Professional Job Description
Seeking an enterprise-level Lead Migration Architect / Engagement Lead with 10+ years of experience for a 6-month contract role located Onsite in Phoenix, AZ, Dallas, TX, or Columbus, OH. The candidate will drive tenant-scale cloud migration architecture and execution, transitioning legacy file shares and SharePoint environments to SharePoint Online (SPO), OneDrive for Business, and enterprise cloud storage solutions (ECFS/Panzura). 
Operating within regulated financial services environments, this dual-function architectural and engagement lead role will manage tool selection (ShareGate Migrate Pro vs. Microsoft Migration Manager), path-length/URL remediation strategies, throttling, bandwidth planning, SOW scope governance, and executive reporting.

#Key Responsibilities
* Migration Architecture & SPO Design: Architect site, hub, and document library structures in SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business, optimizing architecture for converted file share structures while adhering to tenant service limits, list view thresholds, and URL length caps.
* Migration Tool Strategy & Execution: Evaluate, select, and operationalize enterprise migration tools (ShareGate Migrate Pro, Microsoft Migration Manager, PowerShell scripting) to execute large-scale data ingestion without business disruption.
* Remediation & Path-Length Strategy: Formulate and enforce strategies for path-depth reduction, folder flattening, file-naming cleanup, and permission mapping across legacy source repositories.
* Financial Services Regulatory Governance: Ensure strict compliance with financial industry data retention rules, PII handling, Restricted data governance, and automated generation of audit trail evidence.
* Engagement & Executive Management: Lead project scope, manage SOW deliverables, control vendor accountability, drive escalation pathways, and present weekly executive status dashboards to senior leadership.

#Required Qualifications
* Core Experience & Level: 10+ years of IT experience with deep expertise as a Cloud Migration Architect / Engagement Lead.
* SharePoint & Cloud Tech Stack: Expert knowledge of SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, SharePoint Server, Windows PowerShell, and cloud storage platforms (Panzura/ECFS).
* Migration Tooling Mastery: Proven track record utilizing ShareGate Migrate Pro and Microsoft Migration Manager for large-scale file share to cloud migrations.
* Domain & Compliance Expertise: Hands-on experience executing data migrations within regulated Financial Services environments (PII, audit logging, retention compliance).
* Work Setup & Location: 100% Onsite commitment in Phoenix, AZ, Dallas, TX, or Columbus, OH.
