Summary:
The Web Specialist is an integral member of the digital marketing team who collaborates cross functionally to design, develop and maintain websites and digital experiences that engage patients, caregivers, and our internal team. This person is proactive, detail-oriented and is comfortable making design and technical decisions while ensuring all digital solutions align with our organization's goals, standards and user needs.
Essential Functions:
Manage Website and Digital Properties
The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for maintaining and updating all websites for LifeBridge Health, including customer-facing digital properties, as well as internal tools and Intranets.
Tasks:
- Manage and update website content via CMS platforms (WordPress, Drupal, etc.), ensuring content is up-to-date, relevant, and aligned with marketing campaigns.
- Coordinate with clients and key stakeholders throughout LifeBridge Health to gather information, design and develop, and ultimately measure and improve digital experiences.
- Simplify complex data through easy-to-navigate digital experiences
- Ensure websites are accessible, optimized for speed, and meet all necessary regulatory and compliance standards (HIPAA, WCAG, etc.).
- Ensure web projects meet user needs, enhance digital presence, and align with business objectives while balancing creativity with practical constraints (e.g., resources, timelines).
- Collaborate closely with designers and marketers to translate creative concepts to life on the web while ensuring a seamless user experience across different devices.
Analyze and Optimize
The Digital Marketing Specialist assists in analyzing data from websites, campaigns, and other digital projects to help with reporting and future marketing strategies.
Tasks:
- Regularly review web traffic analytics (Google Analytics, SCO, Accessibility Standards,Freshpaint, etc.) to understand user behavior, identify anomalies, patterns, and gather other performance measurements.
- Work closely with Service Lines and other corporate clients to make content and website recommendations - leveraging expertise in user experience, website best practices and first-party data (forms submissions, Google Analytics, and more)
- Build dashboards and generate reports on website performance
- Serve as SEO expert, leveraging tools like Google Search Console and BrightEdge to ensure LifeBridge Health digital properties are ranking competitively for relevant keywords
- Leverage user experience data to constantly iterate and improve user experience
Collaborate and Communicate
The Digital Marketing Specialist engages with internal and external stakeholders to align on priorities, project timelines and deliverables.
Tasks:
- Engage with internal teams (marketing, IT, content, etc.) to ensure the seamless integration of digital assets and campaigns.
- Work with back-end developers and IT to troubleshoot, resolve issues, and enhance website performance. Understand and contribute to the technical side of web infrastructure.
- Communicate technical concepts and design solutions to non-technical stakeholders
- Develop processes and workflows, and partner with Marketing Project Management to ensure job requests are efficiently handled.
Continuous Improvement
The Digital Marketing Specialist is required to stay up-to-date on all digital marketing and website trends and best practices. Additionally, they are responsible for understanding healthcare compliance rules and best practices to protect user privacy.
Tasks:
- Monitor and review the digital experiences of our regional competitors
- Stay up-to-date with the latest web development trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Identify opportunities to optimize and improve the web user experience based on analytics, feedback, and industry advancements.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Web Design, Web Development, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 3+ years of professional experience in web design and development, with a strong portfolio of responsive websites and applications.
- Proven experience working in healthcare-related websites or understanding of healthcare-specific regulations and compliance (HIPAA, ADA, WCAG) is a plus.
- Proficiency in front-end Content Management Systems (Wordpress, Drupal, etc.).
- Familiarity with back-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.).
- Experience with web analytics, SEO best practices, and website performance optimization.
- Familiarity with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, or similar.
- Experience integrating digital tools into a website's functionality (Domains, Plugins, Third-party tools and services)
