We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our growing team.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You'll take ownership of our CI/CD platform and cloud infrastructure across IT and R&D. You'll manage the Jenkins build environment, evolve our Infrastructure as Code (Ansible, AWS CDK, Terraform), tighten secrets and supply chain security, and partner with developers in IT, R&D and Production to make releases faster and safer. It's a hands on role with broad scope across pipelines, cloud, security and monitoring.

Your duties will include:
  • Manage Jenkins worker nodes (Windows, macOS, Linux) and pipeline scripts
  • Build and maintain Ansible, AWS CDK and Terraform configurations across AWS and Azure
  • Run secrets management, SBOM scanning, container hardening and software signing in the build pipeline
  • Assist with setting up monitoring, logging and alerting (Zabbix), and help develop backup and DR procedures
  • Assist with least privilege IAM, SSO and access reviews across cloud, Jenkins and Bitbucket
  • Partner with IT, R&D and Production engineers to enable self service workflows and faster delivery
ABOUT YOU
  • 5+ years' experience in a DevOps, SRE or Platform Engineering role, including 2+ years on AWS or Azure
  • Strong Linux administration, Bash scripting and Python for automation
  • Solid Git workflows: branching, pull requests and code review
  • Hands on Infrastructure as Code (Ansible, Terraform, AWS CDK or similar)
  • CI/CD pipeline experience with Jenkins and Bitbucket Pipelines
  • Working knowledge of SQL and at least one NoSQL database
  • Practical security experience: secrets management, SBOM/vulnerability scanning, IAM and least privilege design
  • Container experience with Docker, and orchestration with Swarm or Kubernetes
  • Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field, or equivalent industry experience
DESIRABLE
  • AWS or Azure associate level certification (or higher), HashiCorp Terraform Associate, or CKA
  • Experience with embedded hardware build pipelines
  • Exposure to C/C++/C#, Node.js, PHP or Flutter mobile development
WHAT'S ON OFFER
  • Broad, hands on scope across pipelines, cloud, security and DR
  • Work that spans IT, R&D and Production
  • Supportive, collaborative team with a service oriented mindset
  • Competitive salary based on experience
  • On site at our Wetherill Park office, with hybrid available after probation
