Junior Product Designer

About the Role

This is a Junior Product Designer role on a small, fast-moving cross-functional team at a Series A B2B AI startup in the industrial procurement space. You will help define how procurement professionals supervise and collaborate with AI agents, shaping UX patterns for a product category that is still being invented. Your work ships to paying customers within weeks, not quarters.

What You'll Do

• Design end-to-end product flows, screens, and prototypes that reach customers quickly.

• Define how AI agents surface work, how humans review it, and how trust is built between them.

• Prototype in Figma, code, and AI tooling to communicate ideas clearly and rapidly.

• Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and procurement domain experts to reduce handoff friction.

• Review pull requests and make last-mile interaction and visual tweaks to maintain shipped quality.

• Contribute to and raise the bar on the design system across the product.

• Own features from discovery through launch and iterate based on real customer feedback.

What We're Looking For

• 0 to 2 years of product design experience, with strong internships counting, backed by a portfolio of shipped work.

• Experience designing B2B, complex-workflow, or data-heavy products is a strong plus.

• Strong visual and interaction design fundamentals with attention to design system consistency.

• Daily use of AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, v0, or Figma Make for ideation and prototyping.

• Systems thinking: you care about how features work together, not just individual screens.

• Comfort with ambiguity and a bias toward shipping over endless polish.

• Bonus: ability to prototype in code (HTML, CSS, or React); experience designing for non-technical users in complex domains; opinions on how AI should appear in products beyond chat.

• Able and willing to work on-site in Munich full-time.
