Electrical Construction Manager
Location: West Ruislip, West London
Sector: Major Infrastructure / M&E
Start: Immediate / September 2026
Employment Type: Permanent
An experienced Electrical Construction Manager is required to join a leading M&E contractor delivering a major infrastructure project in West London.
This is an excellent opportunity for an Electrical Construction Manager with strong site delivery experience to take responsibility for electrical works within a technically demanding, large-scale construction environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day delivery of electrical installation works on site.
- Coordinate electrical subcontractors, supervisors and site labour.
- Ensure works are delivered safely, to programme and to the required quality standards.
- Review drawings, specifications and installation requirements.
- Coordinate electrical works with mechanical, civil and other construction disciplines.
- Monitor progress against programme and identify potential delays or issues.
- Manage RAMS, permits, inspections and site documentation.
- Attend coordination, progress and construction meetings.
- Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers and the wider delivery team.
- Oversee testing, commissioning, snagging and handover activities.
- Ensure installations comply with project specifications and relevant industry standards.
- Previous experience as an Electrical Construction Manager or Electrical Site Manager.
- Strong electrical building services or infrastructure experience.
- Experience delivering sizeable and technically challenging projects.
- Good understanding of electrical installation, testing and commissioning.
- Strong knowledge of health & safety and site management procedures.
- Ability to coordinate multiple subcontractors and work packages.
- Confident reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Experience within major infrastructure, rail, tunnelling or similarly complex projects would be advantageous.
