Job Description

Need - Oracle SCM Cloud and ERP Cloud (Financials) exp, SCM &ERP cloud, Reporting,
We are looking for an Oracle SCM Cloud Consultant for our client located in Greenville SC. The duration is 6 months. The job description is as follows.
  1. Role Overview & Objectives
    Role Title: Oracle SCM Cloud Functional & Integration Consultant
    Engagement Objective: Responsible for configuration, testing, and deployment of Oracle SCM Cloud processes while designing reliable functional integration points with Oracle ERP Cloud financial, External Planning Systems, External Pricing Referential application and External WMS application in a best of breed architecture. Ability to manage design for transition state from legacy mainframe and legacy EBS systems to the Oracle Cloud.
    Core Focus: Bridging supply chain management operations (Inventory, Order Management, Procurement) with core financial structures (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Subledger Accounting), bringing pricing data from an external application to the Oracle Cloud, bringing planning data from an external planning engine into GOP/Backlog Management and configuring orchestration processes within Order Management. Designing the management of credit check in the cloud in a transition as well as target state.
  2. Required Technical & Functional Expertise
    Domain Required Competencies & Focus Areas
Oracle SCM Cloud Core Deep expertise in Oracle, Inventory Management, Order Management (OM), Procurement Cloud, OTM, GOP, Backlog Management.
Configuration of item masters, organization structures, picking and shipping rules, and fulfillment lines.
SCM-to-ERP Integration Thorough working knowledge of functional touchpoints between Oracle SCM Cloud and ERP Cloud (Financials).
Expertise in intercompany accounting flows, drop-ship accounting, AR Credit Check and inventory valuation postings to the General Ledger.
Understanding of cost accounting integration, subledger accounting rules (SLA), and automated invoice creation from fulfillment.
Data & Integration Toolsets Familiarity with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST/SOAP web services, and FBDI (File-Based Data Import) templates for mass updates.
Ability to troubleshoot payload structures, transaction errors, and diagnostic logs across cloud boundaries.
Familiarity with Azure Micro Services and Postgres
  1. Key Responsibilities & Deliverables
  2. Solution Design: Translate business requirements and solution architecture into robust Oracle SCM Cloud configuration specifications and define data flows between SCM and ERP Clouds as well as SCM and external Planning System and external Pricing system. Ability to manage transition state design and ramp up design by functional axes.
  3. Configuration & Customization: Configure core SCM modules, pricing strategies, shipping execution parameters, and cross-application integration maps.
  4. End-to-End Testing: Design and execute scenario-based test scripts covering complete order-to-cash and procure-to-pay lifecycles, validating accurate financial postings in ERP Cloud.
  5. Defect Resolution & Optimization: Identify and resolve integration bottlenecks, performance lags, or data discrepancies between inventory subledgers and general ledgers.
  6. Knowledge Transfer: Provide comprehensive documentation, training manuals, and handover sessions to internal support teams.
  7. Required Qualifications & Experience
    Experience: Minimum 8 10 years of hands-on implementation and design experience with Oracle Cloud Applications (SCM and ERP tracks).
    Track Record: Successfully delivered at least 3 full-lifecycle Oracle Cloud implementations involving complex SCM-to-ERP integration scopes as well as transition from legacy mainframe and EBS applications. Ability to bring in Oracle Cloud modules in a best of breed architecture.
    Soft Skills: Excellent cross-functional communication skills, and structured problem-solving methodologies.
