The Role

• Contribute to the design and development of advanced embedded systems within multidisciplinary teams.
• Develop software for various microarchitectures, including DSP, ARM, and RISC-V.
• Build software for multi-core embedded systems, ranging from bare metal to Linux environments.
• Read and comprehend datasheets to understand hardware operation and write low-level code for hardware interface.
• Design, build, and document test plans, procedures, and specifications to validate hardware performance.
• Communicate technical details of software APIs and test results effectively.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• 4+ years of software development experience, with strong C/C++ skills for embedded systems.
• Experience with IDEs, build tools (GCC, CMake), and version control systems (Git).
• Strong understanding of hardware-software interaction, basic computer architecture, and unit testing methodologies.
• Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation for developed software.
• Ability to obtain a Secret level security clearance, with the potential to obtain TS/SCI.
