We're delighted to be partnering with a fantastic local employer to recruit an HR Administrator/Coordinator to join their busy HR function. This is an excellent opportunity to broaden your HR experience, gain exposure across the full employee lifecycle, and play a key role in supporting both employees and managers.
The Role
As a trusted member of the HR team, you'll help keep HR operations running smoothly while delivering a positive employee experience throughout the business.
What's on Offer
Hybrid working (minimum 2 days per week in the Plymouth office)
Free on-site parking
Flexible working pattern of 37 hours one week and 30 hours the next
Exposure to all aspects of HR within a collaborative team environment
A varied role with opportunities to develop your HR knowledge and skills
Key responsibilities include:
  • Supporting recruitment activities, including advertising vacancies, screening applications and coordinating interviews
  • Preparing contracts, offer letters and new starter documentation
  • Maintaining accurate employee records and HR systems (HRIS)
  • Completing right-to-work checks and reference requests
  • Supporting payroll with employee changes and updates
  • Producing HR reports on absence, starters, leavers and compliance
  • Assisting with employee relations and absence management processes
  • Supporting learning and development records, HR projects and wider team initiatives

About You
We're looking for someone who:
  • Has previous HR administration or coordination experience
  • Possesses excellent organisation skills and a keen eye for detail
  • Is confident using Microsoft Office and HR systems
  • Holds (or is working towards) CIPD Level 3 or above
