Cloud Support Engineer Evenings | Tysons, VA | Hybrid This employer is seeking a mission-focused Cloud Support Engineer to join their hybrid cloud infrastructure operations team. The role involves providing critical 24x7 incident response and customer service, troubleshooting complex issues across Linux and Kubernetes environments, and ensuring seamless cloud integration for enterprise and government customers. The Role • Diagnose, resolve, and track complex support cases via ServiceNow, phone, and email, adhering to SLAs. • Monitor and triage incidents from automated alerting systems, following established SOPs and runbooks. • Independently resolve technical issues in Linux and Kubernetes environments, escalating only when necessary. • Collaborate with engineering teams to reproduce issues, validate fixes, and improve system stability. • Identify support trends and provide structured feedback to engineering and process improvement teams. • Deliver high-touch, mission-critical support to government and enterprise customers with clear and professional communication. What You'll Need • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent experience with substitutions for certifications. • Proven experience in Linux system administration, including command-line management and networking. • Demonstrated experience with Kubernetes environments for container management and basic troubleshooting. • Familiarity with ticketing, alerting, and incident response tools. • Experience supporting IT operations or cloud service environments, particularly for government or intelligence communities, is a plus. • An active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance is required.
