Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Manager role based in Ahmedabad. The Business Development Manager will identify and pursue new business opportunities, build and maintain relationships with key clients, and expand market presence for table and floor box solutions. Responsibilities include prospecting and lead generation, conducting client meetings and product presentations, preparing proposals and quotations, and negotiating contracts. The role involves close collaboration with internal teams to ensure customized solutions match client requirements, tracking sales performance, and reporting market insights and competitor activity. The Business Development Manager will also contribute to strategic planning, participate in industry events, and support continuous improvement in sales processes and customer experience.


Qualifications

  • Proven experience in business development, corporate sales, or key account management, preferably in electrical, hardware, or office infrastructure products.
  • Strong skills in lead generation, client relationship management, and negotiation, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to understand and present technical product features, customization options, and SGS-certified quality standards to diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage decision-makers in offices, residential projects, and commercial spaces.
  • Comfort with on-site client visits, local market travel in and around Ahmedabad, and coordination with internal operations and production teams.
  • Good analytical and reporting skills, including sales forecasting, pipeline management, and use of CRM or similar tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
  • Self-driven, organized, and able to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
