Senior Systems Engineer - Systems Integration & Test (SEIT) with Security Clearance

About the role Four Sea Group is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer specializing in systems integration and test to support the development, integration, verification, and validation of complex mission systems.

This role contributes to Four Sea Group's ability to translate customer requirements into reliable fielded capabilities by connecting systems-engineering analysis with hands-on integration and verification. The engineer will independently support defined system-level efforts, evaluate hardware and software interactions, develop and execute test approaches, troubleshoot anomalous behavior, and help ensure technical solutions account for mission, schedule, cost, and lifecycle considerations.

The ideal candidate brings practical systems-engineering judgment combined with strong integration and test experience. This role requires the ability to understand how requirements flow into hardware and software solutions, evaluate system interfaces and tradeoffs, and collaborate across engineering disciplines to improve technical readiness and successful program delivery. Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or another relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Relevant systems engineering, integration, test, verification, or mission-focused engineering experience; the customer requirement allows approximately three years with a bachelor's degree, one year with a master's degree, or equivalent additional experience in lieu of a degree.
• Active DoD TS/SCI security clearance at the time of application.
• Experience supporting system integration, verification, validation, or system-level test activities.
• Experience translating customer or product requirements into hardware and software system solutions.
• Experience developing test plans, test procedures, checkout procedures, and technical reports.
• Experience with requirements analysis, allocation, interface definition, or comparable systems-engineering activities.
• Understanding of system/product lifecycle concepts and established engineering practices.
• Experience working with both Linux- and Windows-based systems.
• Experience installing or supporting software using Docker.
• Experience collecting and evaluating test or instrumentation data.
• Experience troubleshooting anomalous behavior involving both hardware and software.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, or comparable engineering collaboration and issue-tracking tools.
• Working proficiency with standard Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project.
• Ability to independently support a defined systems integration and test scope and coordinate effectively across hardware, software, and test teams.
• Ability and willingness to travel internationally for approximately 7-14 days at a time, up to approximately 20% annually.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience performing functional analysis, timeline analysis, detailed trade studies, or system-effectiveness assessments.
• Experience integrating and testing ground-station systems.
• Knowledge of antenna systems, RF concepts, or related communications-system technologies.
• Experience installing and supporting applications using Kubernetes.
• Experience in space, satellite ground, defense, intelligence, or other mission-critical environments.
• Experience with MBSE concepts, models, or system artifacts.
• Experience supporting broader verification and validation activities throughout the engineering lifecycle.

Salary: The salary range for this role is $140,000.00-$186,000.00 per year. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
