Warehouse Yard Worker

National Star Services, a facility management company with over 28 years of nationwide experience, is currently hiring reliable and hardworking General Laborers to support operations at a transportation facility in Sweetwater, TX 79556.

This is an outdoor, physically active position assisting truck drivers with covering and securing materials on flatbed trailers.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist drivers with covering materials on flatbed trucks
• Unroll and position large tarps over materials on flatbed trailers
• Secure tarps using straps, bungee cords, and other equipment
• Ensure materials are properly covered and secured before trucks leave the facility
• Work safely and efficiently while following site procedures
• Perform physical work outdoors in changing weather conditions
• Maintain a clean and safe work area

Schedule:

Monday – Friday

1st Shift: 9:45 AM – 6:30 PM

2nd Shift: 1:45 PM – 10:15 PM

Hourly Pay Rate:

$22.75/HOUR.  (WEEKLY PAY)

Requirements:

• Two valid forms of identification (Photo ID & Social Security Card)
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
• Steel-toe boots are required for safety
• Must be comfortable performing physical work outdoors
• Must be comfortable working in different weather conditions
• Reliable transportation to and from the job site is required (No public transportation is available near the job site)
• Must be willing to complete a background check
• Must be available to start working as soon as possible
