Job Description

Job Overview:
Looking for an experienced FHIR/HL7 Integration Engineer with strong healthcare interoperability experience to support FHIR-based integration and healthcare platform modernization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead HL7 and FHIR integration initiatives.
  • Design and maintain FHIR R4 profiles, extensions, and terminology.
  • Work with FHIR resources for Member, Provider, Claims, and Enrollment.
  • Create FHIRPath invariants, slicing, and constraints.
  • Work with FSH and SUSHI for FHIR implementation guides.
  • Build and publish implementation guides using IG Publisher.
  • Design CodeSystems and ValueSets and manage terminology bindings.
  • Perform FHIR validation and troubleshoot StructureDefinition errors.
  • Use Git, PRs, and CI/CD pipelines for FHIR builds.

Required Skills:

  • Strong Healthcare & Interoperability experience.
  • Hands-on HL7 and FHIR R4 experience.
  • Experience with FSH, SUSHI, and IG Publisher.
  • FHIR validation and troubleshooting experience.
  • Strong understanding of FHIR profiles, extensions, slicing, and terminology.
  • TypeScript or Java experience is preferred.
