Catastrophe Modelling Manager

We are working with a leading global insurer as the seek an experienced catastrophe modelling professional to join the business and help drive innovation, lead on portfolio optimisation, and drive overall business performance. This is a highly-visible role, partnering closely with underwriters, actuaries, and senior stakeholders to deliver analytical insight that supports underwriting performance and risk strategy.

The successful candidate will lead a close-knit and collaborative team, support business planning and regulatory reporting, and drive the development of catastrophe risk capabilities across the organisation.

Key Requirements

• Extensive catastrophe modelling experience within (Re)insurance using a recognised vendor model.
• Technical proficiency using tools such SQL, Python, and Power BI is highly advantageous.
• Experience leading teams and managing senior stakeholder relationships is desired
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
