The Role

• Operate specialized heavy equipment, including hostlers, cranes, top loaders, and side loaders, to move shipping containers.
• Load and unload containers from railcars and trucks, ensuring accurate placement and transport.
• Safely position containers and chassis within the intermodal yard.
• Conduct pre- and post-operation equipment inspections to guarantee safety and functionality.
• Coordinate with yard personnel and supervisors to manage daily logistics operations and task completion.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment by adhering to all established safety protocols.

What You'll Need

• A valid driver’s license is mandatory.
• Previous experience operating heavy machinery in a logistics or industrial setting is preferred.
• Strong commitment to safety practices and a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including all shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
