Job Description

Due to an increasing demand for care in Cowbridge & Surrounding Areas we are looking for hardworking, kind and compassionate new care assistants to join our team!

This is a part time position, but you can choose between a variety of contracts that suit your availability.

As a care assistant with Home Instead, you will be visiting people in their own home for a minimum hour at a time to help them with all elements of their daily routines and provide meaningful companionship at the same time. This may also involve providing assistance with personal care.

 

We offer:

  • Pay rate of £12.00 - £13.00 per hour, earn up to £24.00 per hour on Bank Holidays.
  • Paid travel time plus paid mileage between clients.
  • A range of guaranteed hours contracts available depending on what suits your availability e.g.: 16, 30 hours p/week, or zero-hours.
  • Paid holiday, even on a zero-hour contract.
  • Paid on the job training and shadowing.
  • Regular working pattern with the same Clients.
  • 24/7 on call support and a friendly and supportive office team.
  • Regular team meetings, training updates and support visits.
  • Free qualifications such as QCF diplomas and CPD certificates in a variety of topics PLUS fully funded City & Guilds qualification in Dementia.

Qualifications are not essential as full award winning training will be given.

Candidates will need a valid, full Driving Licence with access to a vehicle due to rural nature of our client base and the number of clients that include going out as part of their service.
