Inventory Clerk

Responsibilities

• Ensure materials are labelled properly, organized, stored safely, and readily accessible.
• Maintain appropriate levels of inventory components in bulk storage area and production cell locations based on set minimum and maximum quantities.
• Actively replenish inventory in production cells.
• Recommend changes to minimum and maximum stock levels to Inventory Manager and Purchasing Dept.
• Recommend and implement inventory contr ol && organization systems to ensure required parts are in stock and ordered in time.
• Recommend inventory items to Inventory Manager and Purchasing Dept. for purchase action.
• Check in inbound material, ensure correct parts, quantity && quality are received, and enter receipt documents into computer system daily.
• Isolate and label inbound material allocated for specific jobs in designated location.
• Perform inventory cycle counts as necessary.
• Aid in warehouse organization and shipping/receiving functions as required.

Requirements

• Basic math skills - Good Computer Skills - Prior inventory experience.
