Network Design Engineer (Arista/F5/Fortinet)

My client is a leading Financial Markets organisation seeking an experienced Network Design Engineer to join a major FX Trading Platform programme.

This role will focus on the design, implementation and modernisation of complex network infrastructure supporting a large-scale trading environment. You will work closely with engineering, architecture and business stakeholders to deliver resilient, secure and low-latency network solutions.

Rate: Up to £650pd Inside IR35 via Umbrella

Duration: 12-Month Contract

Location: London, Hybrid (3 days on-site)

Key Requirements

• Strong Network Design and Implementation experience
• Multicast networking expertise
• Strong Arista networking experience, ideally including spine-leaf fabric architecture
• F5 Load Balancer experience
• Fortinet, Palo Alto and/or Check Point experience, ideally including firewall migration or replacement programmes
• Strong Routing & Switching knowledge
• Experience within Financial Services, Trading or Capital Markets environments
• Experience producing HLDs, LLDs and technical documentation
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
