Data Migration Technical Lead – AWS

We’re looking for a hands-on technical lead with strong experience designing and executing large-scale AWS data migration solutions, while leading a team of migration developers.

Key requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering / ETL / Data Migration
• 3+ years leading technical development teams or major migration workstreams
• Strong hands-on AWS Data Engineering
• AWS Glue, S3, Lambda, Step Functions and AWS DMS
• Strong Python and SQL
• Hands-on PySpark/Spark
• End-to-end data migration experience
• Source-to-target mapping and transformation
• Data cleansing, validation and reconciliation
• Data quality frameworks and migration controls
• Experience with mock migrations, dress rehearsals and production cutovers
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis
• CI/CD and Git
• Terraform / CloudFormation / CDK
• Experience leading developers, code reviews and technical design

Preferred: Redshift, RDS/Aurora, Athena, EMR, CDC, Kafka, Terraform and enterprise modernization programs.
