Focus of the Role

The focus of this role is to help Telstra Digital Infrastructure (TDI) make better decisions about its Australian infrastructure products and assets. You will work with Finance, Product and Commercial teams to build and maintain the models and reports that show how our products and assets are performing. You will turn data into clear, practical insights that help leaders decide where to invest, grow and improve returns.

Telstra Digital Infrastructure (TDI) is Telstra's integrated digital infrastructure business, bringing together the capabilities and expertise of InfraCo, Telstra International and Field Services. We're focused on the infrastructure that connects businesses, markets and communities across Australia and internationally. Our portfolio spans fibre and duct networks, subsea cables, data centres, satellite infrastructure and engineering services, providing the connectivity and infrastructure that support digital transformation, business growth and the evolving demands of the AI economy. With deep technical expertise and decades of operational experience, we're helping build and operate the secure, reliable and high-performance infrastructure that will underpin Australia's digital future and connect it to the world.

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain models that show how our products and assets perform, including revenue, costs, usage and returns.
• Turn data into clear insights, explaining the trends and patterns and recommending options for senior leaders.
• Support investment decisions by testing "what if" scenarios and helping prepare business cases.
• Produce regular reports and dashboards that are accurate, easy to follow and consistent with Finance.
• Document your work and find ways to improve and automate it, so our analysis is reliable and repeatable.

About You

• Experience in finance, economics, commercial analysis, strategy or data analytics.
• Strong Excel and financial modelling skills, and experience building business cases or investment analysis is highly desirable.
• Confidence working with large sets of data and turning them into practical recommendations.
• Clear communication skills, with the ability to explain numbers simply to technical and non-technical colleagues.
• A curious, commercial mindset and a genuine interest in solving business problems.
• A degree in commerce, economics, finance, data analytics, engineering, mathematics, statistics or equivalent experience.
