Senior PeopleSoft Business Analyst – Finance Lead to Cash

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior PeopleSoft Business Analyst to support the Finance Lead to Cash initiative. The ideal candidate will have strong functional expertise in PeopleSoft Contracts, Billing, Revenue Processing, and Project Costing, with experience in requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, functional documentation, testing, and issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities

• Document current-state and future-state Finance Lead to Cash business processes.

• Lead business requirements gathering, functional analysis, and fit-gap assessments.

• Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications for PeopleSoft enhancements and integrations.

• Analyze billing calculations, revenue processing, accounting impacts, and financial transaction flows.

• Trace transactions and data across Contracts, Projects, Billing, and Revenue modules.

• Analyze custom PeopleSoft processes, integrations, interfaces, and data dependencies.

• Work with Integration Broker teams to understand interface requirements and troubleshoot integration issues.

• Develop test scenarios and support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Perform defect triage, financial reconciliation, root cause analysis, and issue resolution.

• Evaluate configuration versus customization options and recommend appropriate functional solutions.

• Support production readiness and collaborate with Finance stakeholders, business users, developers, and solution architects.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on PeopleSoft experience.

• Strong functional experience with PeopleSoft Contracts, Billing, Project Costing, and Revenue Processing.

• Experience with Finance Lead to Cash business processes.

• Expertise in requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, and functional specifications.

• Experience analyzing custom PeopleSoft processes and integrations.

• Working knowledge of PeopleSoft Integration Broker and interface requirements.

• Understanding of billing calculations, revenue recognition, accounting impacts, and financial reconciliation.

• Experience supporting SIT, UAT, defect triage, and production readiness.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

• Ability to work directly with Finance stakeholders, business teams, developers, and architects.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with end-to-end PeopleSoft Finance transaction flows.

• Knowledge of PeopleSoft configuration, customizations, and integration dependencies.

• Experience in financial data validation and cross-module reconciliation.

• Strong stakeholder management and problem-solving abilities.
