Salesforce Product Owner & Data Governance Lead

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Salesforce Product Owner & Data Governance Lead for a contract assignment with one of our premier financial services clients in New York, NY .
Responsibilities :

• Responsible for supporting and governing the firm Commercial Bank Salesforce platform from a business and data perspective. The individual serves as the key liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams, ensuring that platform enhancements, data quality initiatives, and operational processes align with business objectives.
• Product Ownership
  • Prioritize, refine, and manage enhancement requests.
  • Define business requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Support sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release management.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing and approve production releases.
• Data Governance
  • Own business rules for critical Salesforce data.
  • Monitor and remediate data quality issues.
  • Partner with governance teams on control implementation.
  • Review and approve data standards and data quality metrics.
• Stakeholder Engagement
  • Act as the primary business contact for Salesforce platform initiatives.
  • Partner with technology, operations, risk, and business teams.
  • Facilitate discussions and drive resolution of complex issues.
• Production Support
  • Review and triage system defects.
  • Coordinate business response to production incidents.
  • Ensure timely resolution of platform and data issues.
• Strategic Initiatives
  • Support platform modernization and data transformation initiatives.
  • Lead process improvement efforts.
  • Evaluate impacts of technology and data model changes.
• Governance & Controls
  • Support risk management, regulatory, and governance activities.
  • Review controls and attestations related to business-owned processes.
