Manager, Software Engineering

A rapidly growing SaaS organization serving the financial services industry is seeking a Manager of Software Engineering to join its expanding technology leadership team. This full-time position is based in the Dallas/Fort Worth area with a hybrid schedule of three days per week onsite. The role will lead teams responsible for mission-critical platform services built on .NET, microservices, cloud infrastructure, APIs, event-driven systems, and integration technologies.
This opportunity is ideal for an engineering leader who enjoys balancing people management with technical leadership. Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of software engineering management experience
• Experience leading distributed or offshore engineering teams
• Strong .NET / C# background
• Experience with microservices architectures
• Experience building distributed systems
• Event-driven architecture expertise
• API design and integration experience
• Cloud platform experience (AWS preferred)
• Agile leadership experience
• Sprint planning and capacity planning experience

What You Will Be Doing

• Lead two engineering teams consisting of approximately 10 engineers
• Drive engineering execution, planning, and delivery
• Participate in architecture and system design discussions
• Coach engineers and technical leads
• Improve software quality and development practices
• Partner with Product and Engineering leadership
• Support modernization efforts and platform scalability initiatives
• Build strong collaboration between U.S. and offshore teams
• Establish metrics and accountability frameworks
• Promote adoption of AI development tools and best practices

The Offer

• Base Salary: $160,000 - $180,000
• Target Bonus: 10%
