Job Description

The Human Resources Manager oversees the company’s HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, benefits, compliance, and employee development. This role partners with leadership and department managers to support employees, maintain HR policies and processes, and foster a positive, productive, and accountable workplace.

Objectives

Develop and Maintain Effective HR Policies, Procedures, and Processes That Support Company Goals and Organizational Growth
Manage the Full Employee Lifecycle, Including Recruiting, Interviewing, Hiring, Onboarding, Performance Management, Development, and Offboarding
Serve as a Trusted Resource for Employees and Managers Regarding Workplace Policies, Employee Relations, Performance Concerns, and HR Processes
Partner With Leadership and Department Managers to Address Employee Performance, Attendance, Conduct, and Workplace Concerns
Maintain Accurate and Confidential Employee Records, Documentation, and HR Information
Ensure Compliance with Applicable Federal, State, and Local Employment Laws and Regulations
Develop and Implement Employee Engagement, Retention, Recognition, and Professional Development Initiatives
Establish Consistent Performance Management Practices, Including Reviews, Goal Setting, Corrective Action, and Performance Improvement Plans
Manage Benefits Administration and Serve as a Primary Point of Contact for Employee Benefit Questions and Enrollment Processes
Develop and Maintain a Structured Onboarding and Offboarding Process That Provides a Consistent Employee Experience
Support Managers with Hiring Decisions, Interview Processes, Job Descriptions, Compensation Discussions, and Employee Development
Monitor Workplace Culture and Identify Opportunities to Improve Communication, Collaboration, Accountability, and Employee Satisfaction
Maintain Current Knowledge of Employment Laws, HR Best Practices, and Organizational Policies.

Provide Leadership with HR Insights, Reporting, and Recommendations Related to Staffing, Retention, Performance, and Workforce Planning

Education & Experience:
Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or Related Field
2 – 5+ Years of Experience in Human Resources
Experience Managing Recruitment, Onboarding, Performance Management, and Employee Relations
Working Knowledge of Federal and State Employment Laws
Experience Maintaining Confidential Employee Records and HR Documentation
SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR Certification Preferred
Experience Partnering Directly with Department Managers and Executive Leadership
