Job Overview
As a Production Support Manager for Custody Technology, you would be accountable for management of complex/critical/large professional disciplinary areas. Leads and directs a team of professionals. Requires a comprehensive understanding of multiple areas within a function and how they interact in order to achieve the objectives of the function. Applies in-depth understanding of the business impact of technical contributions. Strong commercial awareness is a necessity. Generally accountable for delivery of a full range of services to one or more businesses/ geographic regions. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Some external communication may be necessary. Accountable for the end results of an area. Exercises control over resources, policy formulation and planning. Primarily affects a sub-function. Involved in short- to medium-term planning of actions and resources for own area. Full management responsibility of a team or multiple teams, including management of people, budget and planning, to include performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions and terminations and budget approval.
Responsibilities

• Lead and transform the NAM/LATAM Custody production support function into a proactive, resilient, and scalable organization.

• Own the stability of production environments supporting more than 30 applications, protecting client service levels through a period of rapid business growth.

• Build and execute a resiliency strategy that strengthens platform performance across a multi-market technology stack spanning North America and Latin America.

• Guide development teams on improvements to application stability, scalability, and supportability.

• Set capacity, throughput, and latency management standards across the regional production infrastructure.

• Define onboarding standards for new markets and business lines joining the platform.

• Act as the senior technology partner to the Custody business, presenting performance updates and strategy at senior business reviews.

• Manage vendor relationships, including oversight of offshore and nearshore managed services teams.

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of around 30 professionals, handling hiring, performance, and compensation decisions across a multi-time-zone environment.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 10 or more years of experience in application production management or technology operations within financial services.

• Senior-level experience in application support role, including direct people management responsibility.

• Proven ability to lead large, geographically distributed technology teams.

• Strong background in incident management, problem management, and ITIL-based frameworks.

• Experience supporting applications across varied technology stacks, including cloud, data warehouse, distributed, and mainframe environments.

• Demonstrated ability to influence and engage senior business and technology stakeholders.

• Clear and confident written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical issues for non-technical audiences.

• Experience managing vendor relationships and offshore or near-shore service delivery models.

Beneficial Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with custody, securities services, or capital markets platforms.

• Exposure to capacity planning and forecasting.

• Familiarity with automation tools, AI-driven monitoring, and modern observability practices.

• Proficiency in Spanish and/or Portuguese to support engagement across LATAM markets.

Education:

• Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:
$141,440.00 - $212,160.00
