A shift Hours - Occasionally B shift hours 1-2 times a month (2pm - 10 pm)

Job Description

Client is seeking an experienced Harnessing / Electrical Technician to support critical electrical assembly, harness fabrication, and integration activities for our space systems. This role is essential to the development and production of reliable electrical systems for our spacecraft and ground support equipment.

Responsibilities

• Support electrical assembly, harness fabrication, installation, routing, and integration activities

1. Prepare cables and harnesses according to specifications

1. Perform connector termination with precision and quality

1. Route and secure harnesses within complex systems

1. Install electrical hardware components

1. Troubleshoot electrical issues during assembly and integration processes

1. Conduct continuity checks and basic electrical testing

Required Qualifications

• Experience with electrical harness fabrication, installation, and routing

1. Proficiency in wire preparation, crimping, connector termination, and cable management

1. Ability to read and interpret drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and work instructions

1. Experience with electrical/electronic hardware integration

1. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot electrical installation, routing, and fit-up issues

1. Familiarity with standard electrical assembly tools and test equipment

1. Experience supporting prototype, test, or production hardware

1. Basic electrical testing and troubleshooting capabilities

1. Previous experience in assembly and integration environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with vacuum chamber systems

1. Experience working with furnace reactor systems
