Change & Release Manager - ServiceNow, ITIL, CAB - London/Hybrid - £80k
TrinIT Talent are looking for an experienced Change & Release Manager to join our customer based in London. This is a permanent position paying up to £80,000 per annum, with hybrid working.
This is a senior role taking ownership of the Change, Release and Problem Management functions across the organisation, with responsibility for developing and maturing the processes, governance and controls around how technology change is delivered.
You will work across BAU, major transformation programmes and M&A activity, ensuring changes and releases are properly assessed, governed and transitioned into service while driving improvements in service stability through effective Problem Management.
The role
- Own and continually improve Change, Release and Problem Management.
- Chair and coordinate CAB and emergency CAB meetings.
- Manage change governance, approvals, risk and forward schedules of change.
- Own release planning, scheduling, deployment and post-release reviews.
- Lead Problem Management, Root Cause Analysis and recurring incident reduction.
- Act as process owner for Change, Release and Problem within ServiceNow.
- Develop ServiceNow workflows, dashboards, KPIs and reporting.
- Govern changes delivered by third-party suppliers and managed service providers.
- Support major technology transformation and M&A integration programmes.
- Coordinate service transition, release readiness and cutover activity.
- Work closely with PMO, Architecture, Cyber Security and technical teams.
Key skills
- Strong Change, Release and Problem Management experience.
- Strong ITIL Service Management background.
- Hands-on ServiceNow Change, Release and Problem Management experience.
- Experience chairing CAB meetings and owning change governance.
- Strong Release Management and service transition experience.
- Problem Management, RCA and service improvement experience.
- Experience managing third-party suppliers and MSPs.
- Experience supporting large-scale technology transformation.
- M&A integration experience.
- Experience working alongside PMO/IMO functions.
- Strong stakeholder management, governance and reporting skills.
