Mechanical Fitter's Mate

Connect Appointments is recruiting a Mechanical Fitter's Mate to join an established engineering business based in Auchtermuchty , but working across sites on the east coast.

You'll be working alongside an engineer, assisting with general labouring on-site: carrying tools and ladders, helping with set-up and clear-up, and supporting the job wherever needed.

What's on offer?

• Full-time permanent position
• Monday to Friday, 7am to 5pm - or when the task is finished
• Paid at 15 per hour

As a Mechanical Fitter's Mate, your duties will include:

• Assisting an engineer with general labouring duties on site
• Carrying and handling tools, ladders and equipment
• Keeping work areas clean, tidy and safe
• Supporting with general site duties as required

To be considered as a Mechanical Fitter's Mate, you will need:

• Some level of mechanical experience is advantageous
• Good physical fitness as this is a hands-on practical role
• A reliable, hardworking approach with good timekeeping
• The ability to work well alongside others
• A CSCS card is an advantage but not essential
