About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Technical Lead MES with deep expertise in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), specifically Siemens Opcenter, to lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise manufacturing solutions. This role will provide technical leadership, mentor development teams, collaborate with stakeholders, and drive delivery excellence across MES initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Opcenter 2604 or 2410, development within the Designer Portal, and exposure to the Mendix low-code platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of MES solutions using Siemens Opcenter
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to MES developers and engineers
• Drive best practices for coding standards, architecture, and application performance
• Conduct code reviews and establish quality assurance processes
• Support CI/CD implementation using tools such as Jenkins and GitLab
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and define technical solutions
• Evaluate technical alternatives, identify risks, and recommend mitigation strategies
• Participate in architecture reviews, feasibility assessments, and technical discussions
• Monitor project delivery, status reporting, and issue escalation management
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations

Required Qualifications

Must-Have Skills

• Strong experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
• Hands-on experience with Siemens Opcenter 2604 or 2410
• Experience developing solutions within the Opcenter Designer Portal
• Strong understanding of MES architecture, workflows, and integrations
• Experience conducting technical reviews and mentoring development teams
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC), testing, and deployment practices
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Mendix application development experience
• Exposure to Rockwell FactoryTalk
• Experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar DevOps platforms
• Manufacturing industry experience in discrete or process manufacturing environments
• MES integrations with ERP, PLM, SCADA, or automation systems

Preferred Certifications

• Certified Manufacturing Enterprise Solutions Professional (CMESP)
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
• Siemens Opcenter certifications (preferred)

Pay and Benefits

Pay Range Minimum: $50 /hour

Pay Range Maximum: $ 75/hour

A candidate s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law.
