QA Analyst / Senior Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated functional and regression test frameworks using Python and Squish.
• Convert manual test cases into reusable and maintainable automated scripts.
• Execute functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Maintain and troubleshoot Windows-based automation environments and VMware VMs.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and differentiate application, automation, and environment issues.
• Log, track, and verify defects using Jira and collaborate with development/QA teams on resolution.
• Support Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, estimation, and automation deliverables.
• Support bi-weekly release validation, regression cycles, and release readiness activities.
• Review requirements/design documents and contribute to test strategy, automation feasibility, and framework architecture.
• Monitor automation execution, test coverage, defect trends, and quality metrics; prepare status reports.
• Coordinate with onsite/offshore teams, stakeholders, and clients; provide technical guidance and mentor junior engineers.
• Identify opportunities to improve automation coverage, framework stability, execution efficiency, and overall software quality.

• Experience working with distributed onsite/offshore teams.
• Ability to mentor engineers and provide technical leadership.
