Job Description

Role: Linux Developer

Location: Dallas, TX

Duration 12 Month (Contract to Start)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize Linux-based applications and scripts.
  • Write efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, and database integrations.
  • Perform system-level programming, debugging, and troubleshooting in Linux environments.
  • Create shell scripts (Bash/Python) for automation, deployment, and monitoring tasks.
  • Collaborate with database teams to ensure data consistency and performance optimization.
  • Monitor system performance and perform root-cause analysis for issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in Linux software or system development.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems, file systems, and process management.
  • Proficiency in SQL query optimization, joins, and stored procedures (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar).
