The Role

• Operate specialized heavy equipment, including hostlers, cranes, and top loaders, to move shipping containers safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload containers to and from railcars and trucks as part of daily logistics operations.
• Position containers and chassis within the intermodal yard using hostlers.
• Perform routine inspections of equipment to ensure safety and readiness for operation.
• Coordinate container moves and tasks with yard personnel and supervisors.
• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to established safety protocols and procedures.

What You'll Need

• A valid driver's license is required.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Strong commitment to safety and exceptional attention to detail.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including all shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and physically navigate railcars and equipment.
