Senior Project Financial & Operations Analyst

Thinkfind is seeking a Senior Project Financial & Operations Analyst to provide advanced operational and financial support for complex engagements across a Spend Management organization. This individual will manage engagement setup, administration, milestones, issue resolution, and project closure across ERP and Professional Services Automation (PSA) systems. Responsibilities include preparing, validating, and reconciling project financials, revenue, profitability, KPIs, savings, and risk reporting; coordinating risk assessments; investigating financial and operational discrepancies; and reviewing project records, contractual requirements, and supporting documentation for accuracy and compliance. The Senior Analyst will partner with Accounting, Finance, project managers, delivery teams, and business leaders to resolve issues, improve data quality and operational processes, develop documentation and training materials, and provide guidance to less-experienced team members.
Qualified candidates will have a bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, operations, or a related field and five to seven years of experience in professional services, project operations, accounting, financial operations, or a similar environment. Candidates should have strong knowledge of project financial management, revenue and profitability reporting, risk assessment, contract compliance, and operational reporting, as well as experience with ERP, PSA, CRM, or comparable business systems. Advanced SQL and Microsoft Excel skills are required, along with strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational abilities and exceptional attention to detail. Candidates should also understand AI tools and their practical application to reporting, documentation, data analysis, and operational processes.
