Housing Policy and Compliance Officer

Ashfield District Council have an exciting opportunity for a Housing Policy and Compliance Officer to join the team based in Kirkby-In-Ashfield. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis (37 hours per week) and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £36,581 - £39,481 per annum.

We are looking for a motivated and forward-thinking Housing Policy and Compliance Officer to join our Housing Management team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping, developing and reviewing housing policies, ensuring our services remain compliant with regulatory and legislative requirements while delivering excellent outcomes for tenants.

Working closely with Housing Managers and corporate colleagues, you will use data, tenant feedback and sector best practice to drive service improvements, support regulatory compliance, develop evidence for the Consumer Standards, and help implement service transformation initiatives.

The successful candidate will have experience of working within social housing, strong analytical and communication skills, and a good understanding of the regulatory framework for social landlords. You will be confident developing policies, managing projects and working collaboratively with a range of stakeholders.
