As a Direct Support Professional working with learners in our Community Department, you can expect a typical day to include:
- Helping learners with fun activities that address their goals (e.g. games to work on turn taking, going on walks for fitness, gardening, swimming).
- Documenting progress to share with families.
- Working individually to ensure a safe, fun environment for those we serve.
- Spending time in the community to go to the movies or go shopping.
RATE: $15.75-$19.75 per hour dependent on service, experience and education
